Emmanuelle Chriqui

Although desirable is very comparative statement and the desirable by one does not mean desirable by another. In spite of all these, there is something called “desirable by mass” and “desirable by selected criteria”. The popular men’s Web website has released the results of its annual Top 99 Most Desirable Women poll, which asked their staff and 6 million readers to votes for compiling the Top 99 Most Desirable Women for 2010. And as the criteria asked it’s readers “What does the modern man look for in his ideal companion?” Before going to see the list I just have a question from you guys, who tops in your most desirable list? She may be girl next door. Just kidding!!!

Buffer Zone For Sex offenders

A new buffer zone has been proposed for the sex ofenders in Greenville, Ohio. It will be a place to live after their release from prison. A 1000 foot zone is already in law in the city and now the officials are planning to increase it to 1500 feet. Idea is to separate sex offenders live farther from schools, daycares and bus stops. Residents who are supporting or opposing the idea of special buffer zone have a meeting to discuss on this issue. The two strongest stratements what I feel was – “sex offenders don’t deserve a second chance” and second “What about the victim, what about the child, that child does not get a second chance”. It is true even if there is probability (mind it….still a probability) that sex offenders will come back in normal life, the victim will not get second chance. In my view government/authority should not provide any comfort to them. Buffer zone will not solve the problem. It is only delaying the problem. Buffer zone will only be the place to live, otherwise they are free to walk around.

Sweden Reopened Wikileaks Editor’s Rape Case

A senior Swedish prosecutor had reopened the rape case against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. The case was dismissed earlier by Eva Finne, chief prosecutor in Stockholm. “There is reason to believe that a crime has been committed,” said a statement from Marianne Ny, Sweden’s director of public prosecutions. “Considering information available at present, my judgment is that the classification of the crime is rape.” Assange had denied the allegations and suggested they are provoked by the opponents of WikiLeaks which published documents about U.S. military activities in Iraq and Afghanistan.
