The 11-year-old Brooklyn girl whose death from an asthma attack spurred a probe of the cop who allegedly stopped her mom from rushing her to a hospital was remembered today by hundreds of mourners clad in white. Meanwhile, the Police Department announced that the officer involved in the case, Alfonso Mendez, will not be criminally charged. Read more at New York Post.
